To restore correct functionality, a restoration will take place at 09:00 to revert all affected hosted sites to a previous backup. During the restoration window, WordPress admin access will be temporarily disabled to prevent any amendments while the process is completed. This action will only impact WordPress sites; non-WordPress sites are not impacted by this issue. A permanent fix is currently being worked on in parallel, and the issue continues to be actively investigated. This issue is currently being investigated by Webterior in collaboration with the third-party software vendor. Initial findings suggest the behaviour is likely related to a LiteSpeed cache update applied overnight. The incident is being treated as high priority, and work is ongoing to identify the root cause and restore normal performance as quickly as possible. As of September 2021, our third party SSL Provider dropped support for their older root CA. This change has resulted in a number of users encountering errors with their Mail Clients being unable to verify the server identity. Following a period of testing and to resolve issues we'll be completing emergency maintenance between 13:00 - 14:30 this afternoon (20th October). We'll reissue the SSL Certificate at the root of all customer domains. Please Note: This is not a Webterior-specific issue. Any software (web browsers, Mail Clients) impacted by this will also be unable to connect to any other web sites or mail servers which use Let's Encrypt. Once the work has been completed, you will need to restart any devices (Laptops, Mobiles, PC's etc) that were previously encountering the SSL issue to ensure the device cache is cleared! We're currently investigating JetBackup's software stability due to an outage on one of our servers earlier today. JetBackup software is used to maintain daily backups across all File, Database & Email accounts. JetBackup have confirmed they are aware of the issue and are in the process of issuing an emergency release. Once we have tested software stability the relevant changes will be deployed to all servers and functionality re-enabled.
